SOLICITATION NUMBER: W911YP-LOCKERS-ICORP QUOTE DUE DATE: 20 August 2007 POC: Linda Duvall, Contracting Officer, (801)523-4091 DESCRIPTION: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quot es are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 337215, size standard is 500 Employees. REQUIREMENT: Three Hundred and Twenty-Eight (328) Knocked-Down (defined as ready to assemble with all hardware required for self set-up and install) Double Tier Wall Lockers, for a total of 656 openings. Lockers will be installed at eight different loca tions therefore lockers must be packaged into 8 different separate groups/lots and shipped to 17800 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton, Utah 84065. Each group/lot must be marked as follows and contain all hardware required for self set-up and installation: (LOT 1) HHB 2-222, Cedar City, 32 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 8; (LOT 2) A Btry 2-222, Richfield, 33 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 11; (LOT 3) 213th FSC, St. George, 52 l ockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 4; (LOT 4) C Btry 2-22 Beaver, 44 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 11; (LOT 5) C Btry 2-222, Fillmore, 52 lockers, to include hardware required to a ttach lockers into groups of 4; (LOT 6) A Btry 1-145, Brigham City, 25 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 5; (LOT 7) B Btry 1-145, Manti, 35 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 5; (LOT 8) 214th FSC, Tooele, 55 lockers, to include hardware required to attach lockers into groups of 5. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: Size: 72 inch tall (36 inch per opening) x 24 inch wide x 24 inch deep; slope top; sides, tops and bottoms are made from 16 gauge steel; backs are made from 18 gauge steel; doors are made from heavy duty 14 gauge steel; all locker s ides and doors shall be perforated with a diamond-shaped, 3/4 inch wide x 1-1/2 inch high, in a quantity and pattern to insure maximum ventilation and maintain structural strength; hinges shall be double spun, full loop, tight pin, five-knuckle hinges, pro jection welded to door frame and securely fastened to the door with 2 steel rivets; recessed handle in the door with finger lift control lock and a 4 inch base channel footing along the bottom of the lockers; finish: chemically pre-treated metal with a six stage cleaning phosphatizing and metal preparation process, finish coat shall be electrostatically applied powder coat enamel, lockers shall be painted inside and outside with the same color, tan/putty. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors in no order of importance: (1) offerors capability to provide a quality product that meets the Government requirements; (2) past performance, caliber of offerors performance on previous contracts of a similar nature; and (3) total cost and/or price. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Governments obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which contract award can be made; reference FAR 52.232-18. To be considered, quotes mu st be valid through 30 September 2007. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database by the due date/time of quote, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
