- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items for Certain Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures in support of the Navy Reserve Readiness Command, Mid-Atlantic, Washington, DC. The supplies to be delivered will include picture boards, a ceremonial bell stand and flag wall sconces. The delivery date is projected to be 30-45 days after the issuance of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 453998. This procurement has been set aside one hundred (100) percent for small business concerns (see numbered note 1). All qualified small business offerors are encouraged to submit an offer. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 14 August 2007 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
