- Single award contract for the period Date of Award to August 31, 2008, for the Smithsonian Institution Scholarly Press. Production area is restricted and must be located within a 50-mile radius of zero milestone, Washington, DC. Anticipate approximately 4 to 10 orders per year for approximately 1,500 to 3,500 copies per order. Approximately 75% of the orders will require 100 to 600 pages, and approximately 25% of the orders will require 20 to 96 pages, requiring saddlestitch or perfect binding. Trim size 8-1/2 x 11 inches, with an occasional 7 x 10 inches. Prints in one color, two colors, three colors, and or four color process. Operations include electronic prepress, printing, binding, packing, and distribution. Quality level II. Bid opening August 22, 2007.
