- NASA/KSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for a Positive Displacement Liquid Flow Calibration System used to calibrate freq or analog output generating flow meters, the system requires the following characteristics: Flow Range: Between 0.6 ? 400 gpm Viscosity Range: 10,000 centistokes max Accuracy: better than 0.1% of reading traceable to NIST Operating Pressure: 125 psig max Operating Temperature Range: 60? - 100? F Weight: Less than 2000 pounds dry Signal Input: 4-20mA pulse (16-bit resolution on the analog input) Magnetic Output: Sensitivity 20 mV p-p, 10 V p-p max, 0 ? 10 kHz frequency The vendor shall be able to support installation and provide start-up and system training. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, CAGE code and size of business (whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned). The requirement is to be considered a commercial type-product. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto. All responses shall be submitted to the Point of Contact no later than 08/13/2007.
