- NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for the following service: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, parts, transportation, and other incedentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to preform Preventive and Remedial Maintenance Support Services on ten (10) Newbold and four (4) Matica Embossing Tag Machines and the associated components. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Solicitation. The services shall be provided for a period of 12 months. A Time and Materials (T&M) award is contemplated. The estimated award date is 01 May 2007. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures may be used for this solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated as a 100% small business set-aside to Small Business only. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
