- BBL Micro Microbiology Media or Equal. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a requirement for contract for various types of BBL Microbiology plated media and broth. BD Brand Name or Equal is required for use in the Microbiology Laboratory. It is anticipated that a contract will be issued for a base year with four 12-month options. Total contract will not exceed 5 years. The FSC code for these products is 6550 and Small Business Size Standards is NAICS code 325413 (formerly SIC 2835.) with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation #VA263-07-RQ-0080 entitled "BBL Microbiology Media" is issued. BBL Brand Name products or equal will be accepted. Proposals are due by August 28, 2007, 4:00PM CDT in the Contracting Office (90C), VA Medical Center, One Veterans Drive, Bldg. 68, Room 143, Minneapolis, MN 55417.
