- Viscometer With Autosampler Solicitation No. 2007-4431-016 The USDA, ARS, Mid South Area, intends to procure a Viscometer With Autosampler equal to the Anton Paar USA SVM 3000 Model Viscometer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2007-4431-016 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Offerors are to provide a bid for the following: SPECIFICATIONS: ? An automatic viscometer ? Sample size: 5 ml or less ? Cleaning solvent: 10 ml or less ? Minimum of two cleaning solvent chamber plus one drying solvent chamber ? Measures both viscosity and density ? Built in temperature control ? Filling viscosity: up to 1000 cps ? Dynamic viscosity: up to 20,000 cps ? Density (g/ml): 0.6000 to 3.0000 ? Temperature range/accuracy: 15.000 ? 100.000 deg. C (minimum) ? Autosampler Capacity: 40 (minimum) ? Autosampler with automatic filling and cleaning between samples ? Sample Types: Oils, organic chemicals, and aqueous ? Autosampler?Programmable to run specific samples at specific temperatures ? Transfers data to Excel Equipment Line Items: UNIT NO. SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 01 Viscometer With Autosampler 1 EA $________ $________ TOTAL $________ All systems and components shall be provided with a one (1) year warranty from the time of owner?s acceptance. The warranty shall cover all parts, labor and material. Delivery of the unit by the instrument vendor must be within 30 days of award of contract. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A BID FOR CONSIDERATION. Bid prices shall include all necessary labor, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to delivered FOB Destination a Viscometer With Autosampler to USDA, ARS, 59 Lee Road., Stoneville, MS 38756. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
