Description
The Army Contracting Agency, Contracting Center of Excellence intends to issue a solicitation for the program entitled: Wounded Soldiers and Family Call Center. The contractor will perform Call Center Operations support in day to day operations for the Army Wounded Soldiers and Family Hotline program under the Army G1 Human Resources Personnel Directorate (HRPD). The intent is to provide a toll free call line for Army families, Soldiers, Retirees, Veterans, and Disabled Soldiers (beneficiaries) wh o are seeking information, submitting suggestions, registering complaints, or raising issues about their outpatient medical care. The Call Center is aimed at instilling confidence in our Army and the American people that the Army Medical Department delive rs exceptional service and care. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 5 61110 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000. The resultant contract will be a Labor Hours contract with a 12-month base performance period (30 Sep 07  29 Sep 08) plus three 12-month option periods should the Government choose to exercise them . The successful contractor will be selected using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 24 August 2007. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entit y Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the Internet only at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://acq uisition.army.mil/asfi. No hard copies will be available. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled or published. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendmen ts.
