- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number for this effort is W912ES-07-T-0082 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The provisions an d clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquis ition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ (iv) This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 339991 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) This requirement consists of Line Item 0001 LD3 Dewatering Miter Gate Parts Supply Contract. There will be a total of Line Item 0001 thru Line Item 0020. See Scope of Work along with the specif ic parts drawings. (vi) The parts and quantities shall meet the specifications of the Scope of Work (SOW) for the Miter Gate Parts. The Contractor must quote a unit price times quantity = total for each part listed under 1. General Section tables of the S cope of Work. The total number of line items for all parts listed in the tables is twenty (20). There should be a total of 21 line items listed on your quote, including a line item for shipping and unloading at the destination site. (vii) Deliverables and acceptance of deliverables will be FOB Destination. Shipment destination address and shipping point of contact is: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lock and Dam 3, Attn: Dan Schmidt, 4330 Lock and Dam Road, Welch, MN 55089-9644, Telephone No. 651-388-5794. T he estimated delivery date for this requirement is approximately 21 SEP 2007 or 4-6 weeks.
