- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is N00167-07-Q-5253. This RFQ is being solicited as unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334112 ? Size standard is 1000 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 as well as DCN 20070531. Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 -- Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Sept 2006). The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Basis for award: Lowest price, technically acceptable. Award type will be firm-fixed price. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? Quantity /123 (EA) ? Item Description / Sony Tape Drives (NEW), Part # SDX-1100V/RB with both black and white bezel kits, with side fins for 5.25" installation. (SONY BRAND NAME ONLY -- EQUALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) FOB Destination. Delivery is required 30 days ADC. (Order must be shipped complete -- Partials will not be accepted) Final inspection and acceptance location: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, 9500 MacArthur Blvd., West Bethesda, Maryland 20817-5700. The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.211-14 (DO); 52.211-15; 52.212-1; 52.212-4;52.247-34; 52.252-1; 52.252-2; 52.212-5{Incorporating 52.203-6; 52.219-8; 52.222-19; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-37; 52.225-13; 52.232-33}; 252.212-7001{Incorporating : 52.203-3;252.225-7012;252.227-7015;252.227-7037;252.243-7002}. The Offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provisions listed below along with their offer: FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (NOV 2006) ALTERNATE I (APR 2002); DFAR 252.212-7000 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS- COMMERCIAL ITEMS. (JUN 2005). Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
