Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure one CREW Support Trailer on a competitive basis. The trailer must meet the following minimum requirements: 30? cargo box, 8? high body, 8? gooseneck, 38? total length 3? x 8?4? enclosed area on the gooseneck, 5.5 cfm at 90 psi air compressor and 50? 3/8? hose with retractable reel inside. Diesel generator, 12.5 kw, 100 amp at 110 volts AC output mounted on forward portion of gooseneck above the hitch, removable panels covering generator 50 gallon or greater fuel tank with electric fuel pump with fuel lines routed to the generator; Two (2) 7,000 pound torsion axles, at least 14? of ground clearance underneath the lowest point of the frame; Two (2) roof mounted air conditioning units; Drop down rear door hinged at the base of the floor; last 8' of trailer (cargo box) separated from rest of the inside of the trailer by a wooden wall, securely fastened to the floor, walls, and ceiling, with a 36" sliding pocket door; and Two (2) 50 amp breaker boxes, cutoff switches, shore power receptacle, outlets throughout interior. The trailer must have FRONT WORK SURFACE ? WORKBENCH with the following features: 96? wide x 30? deep x 30? high ESD-Safe laminate worktop; 20? low shelf with ?? Lip; 6? upper shelf with ?? Lip; Support arms; Under shelf light; Bin rail, Power bar; Wire manager, Low mount tray; and 2x2 adjustable legs. The trailer must also have a DRIVER SIDE MULTI-PURPOSE BENCH (WORKBENCH) with 72? w ide x 24? deep x 30? high ESD-Safe laminate worktop, 24? wide x 24? de ep 5 drawer (grip-latch drawers) tool storage chest mounted on far right. Full length 6? high backplane/backboard with power strip. The trailer must have DRIVER SIDE MULTI-PURPOSE BENCH WITH OVERHEAD CABINETS (WORKBENCH) with 96? wide x 24? deep x 30? high ESD-Safe laminate worktop. Full length 30? high overhead cabinets with drawers underneath; and 18? above work surface. One (1) 24? wide x 17? deep 5 drawer (grip-latch handles) tool storage chest mounted on far left. (1) 24? wide x 24? deep 5 drawer (grip-latch handles) tool storage chest mounted on far right. Full length 6? high backplane/backboard with power strip. The trailer must also have a PASSENGER SIDE SOLDERING BENCH (WORKBENCH) with 72? wide x 28? deep x 30? high ESD-Safe laminate worktop, Support Arms, Overhead cabinets, Overhead light, Upper shelf light, Bin rail, Rolling tool bar, Power bar, 2x2 adjustable legs 24? wide x 20? deep 5 drawer (grip- latch handles) tool sorge chest mounted on far right Wire manag er, 73? from edge of work surface to inside of left rear support leg. Lastly, the trailer must have SINK/ENCLOSURE BENCH (WORKBENCH) with 42? long x 28? deep frame. Notch in bench to allow for 24? wide x 28? deep and 72? high enclosure Sink/Faucet/ pull out hose with nozzle to fit in remaining 18? wide by 28? deep area to the left of the area allowed for the enclosure. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 441229 which has a size standard of 500 employees. Delivery must occur 8 weeks after the award. This procurement will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized as outlined in FAR Part 13.
