Description
This procurement is for computer services in support of warehouse and shipboard supply, financial, inventory and maintenance systems such as ROMIS-MMS, SNAP, NTCSS and eNTCSS. Specialized services required include the following: ? Support Warehouse and Shipboard Supply, Financial, Inventory, and Maintenance Systems such as ROMIS-MMS, SNAP, NTCSS, and eNTCSS. ? The configuration, support, and monitoring of networking and warehousing devices such as the Intermec/Janus 2010 and 2020 scanners, Trakker 2425, and CK31 wireless handheld devices. ? Maintenance, upgrading, and installation of firewalls such as Gauntlet 5.5, Gauntlet VPN 5.5 and Sidewinder G2 security appliance. ? Maintenance, upgrading, configuration, and installation of hardware encryption devices including Shiva , Juniper Netscreen, Sidewinder G2, Cylink Nethawks, network equipment including Cisco routers (4700, 2514, 1604, 2841, 1811, 7505), wireless Access Points (Aironet 1240 and switches (1924, 2924, 2912, 2916,2950, 5500, 5505, 6509). ? Termination of Category V and 11 cabling. ? Termination of single and multi-mode Fiber Optic Cabling. ? Installation and configuration of T1 devices. ? Troubleshooting of network connectivity issues using but not limited to the Fluke 8060A. ? Installation of assorted software products including Windows 2000, 2003 Server, Terminal Server, client software for Material Management Systems (MMS) for Windows, e-mail packages, virus-scanning software, web browsers and servers, office productivity software and Citrix 4.0 Presentation server software. ? Perform maintenance, upgrading and installation of Wireless Network for the Material Management System (MMS) RF process. ? Site visits to Supships? activities for MMS network assistance. ? Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity with Supships? ADP department including but not limited to Firewall devices, Routers, and switches. ? Perform maintenance and development testing on radio frequency connection between wireless scanners and the Navy?s Material Management System (MMS). Knowledge of the following is required: ? Compaq 5500 DLT Tape Backup Systems ? Veritas BackupExec, Arc-net, and CA BrightStar. ? IEEE 802.11b wireless standard ? Telnet Server Software: SLNET and Georgia Softworks. ? Sidewinder G2 Security devices ? The Navy?s Material Management System (MMS) commonly known as ?ROMIS?. ? Expert knowledge of the Navy?s security requirements for network and RF operation
