Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F3C3L27190A002, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. (iii) The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811118, with a size standard not-to-exceed 500 employees. (v) Contract line item number 0001 contains the following information: (vi) Contractor is to furnish all materials, labor, parts, and equipment to return vehicle to original specifications as stated below for a 2002 Oshkosh Snow Plow, chassis model OSHSNPLW, serial #10TBFWE153S077978, Cat Engine Model C12-455 hp. Remove and repair or replace as required all damaged panels, rails, frame members, and attached plow equipment to include the underbody assembly. Replace and reinstall counter weights. Repair or replace all defective lighting equipment to like new condition. Repair or replace all damaged electrical components and wiring harnesses. Repair or replace all damaged hydraulic components hoses, cylinders, and fittings. Straighten cab and all cab components to ensure proper operation of all associated equipment. Analyze and test all major component and sub component groups and effect repairs to like new condition. (Engine, transmission, steering, rear steer, hydraulic, electrical, brakes). Ensure all attached mechanical electrical equipment performs to factory performance specifications. Prep, prime, and refinish all repaired or replaced parts and areas to factory color and condition. Final product must meet or exceed original end item manufacturer specifications. Applicable provisions and clauses are also included in the attached SF 1449. FOB: (vii) Destination, place of delivery: 309 Summit Drive, Minot AFB, ND 58705. (viii) The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation procedure to be used for this procurement is price and price related factors. (x) To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov or contact CCR Customer Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. In accordance with FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer.
