- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. An Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 20 August 2007, the earliest date the solicitation will be available. This project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportat ion on and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the removal of 27 existing overhead doors and the installation of 27 new insulated overhead doors with electric operators. Principal Features: Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and perform all work required by the plans and specifications. Remove the existing overhead doors in building. Install new overhead doors with operators. Install electrical service for door operators. Paint the exterior of the door to match other doors on the building. Clean Up: Maintain work area(s) in neat, orderly and safe condition during the course of the work, and clean up work area(s) at the end of each workday and upon completion of the work. Dispose of debris and salvageable items. Prepare, maintain, and submit as-built drawings as required. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $ 500,000 (see FAR 36.204). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290. Procurement acquisition will be solicited unrestricted in accordance with Public Law 100-656. The Small Business size standard for this project is $13,000 ,000.
