- DESC: 5340-01-128-5602 Part Number 9348314, the item to procure is RETAINING CLIP. Requirement is: RETAINING CLIP (5340-01-128-5602) F/M M249 MACHINE GUN. IT IS MADE FROM 0.9mm DIAMETER STEEL WIRE, MUSIC SPRING QUALITY, ASTM A228, HEAT TREATED AND S TRESS RELIEVED, AND OIL FINISH. THE APPROXIMATE SIZE IS 14mm X 6.25mm. Requirement is for a 5 year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract with a guaranteed minimum contract quantity of 5,000 each and maximum contract quantity of 240,000 ea ch, PIN, SPRING. FOB is Destination. For use on M249 Machine Gun. Estimated solicitation issue date is 30 August 2007. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via Internet. Vendors who need a TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal must sign a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, which will be included as an attachment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be completed and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before the TDP will be mailed. Any said request must contain the following information CAGE CODE (if available), company name, point of contact, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet and the Non-Disclosure and Non-Agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires manufacture the item being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
