- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00189-07-Q-P708 is issued as a request for quote. Item 0001: Gas Mix, 95% Argon / 5% CO2 ? See Attachment (2pages). Qty 750 government owned cylinders. This is a Government estimate of usage for a period of performance estimated starting date August 20, 2007 ending January 31, 2008. Pick-up/Delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Me. 03904, FOB Destination. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. The NACIS code is 325120. Open and unrestricted competition. Quotations shall include the vendor?s cage code, DUNs number, TIN (taxpayer identification number). Quotations shall be on company letterhead in company format and may be faxed to (207) 438-1251 ATTN: Robert Seaward. An original signed copy must be mailed to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Contracting Division, BLDG 153, 6th Floor, Code 533.3S, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2590 and are due no later than August 20, 2007 at 12:30 PM Local time. Quotations shall be evaluated using (Red/Yellow/Green Source Evaluation Selection System).
