- The purpose of this notice of intent is to notify the commercial market that the Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Select Business Software, Inc., 7966 Arjons Drive Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92126, to renew/procure NOMAD software licensing for a period of 12 months beginning 01 Oct 2007. The Government intends to acquire this commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Subpart 13.1, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, under the authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996) or the authority of the Services Acquisition Reform Act of 2003 (41 U.S.C. 428a), This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210 and the size standard is $23M. Interested persons may identify their interest in writing to Billy Wong by electronic mail: hing.wong@whs.mil. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 18 Aug 2007. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This renewal is subject to the availability of Funds.
