Description

The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions posed asking for clarification of the specifications listed in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: Q: In the description section it states, The National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking to purchase One (1) InGaAs Detector Array. The specifications section references a C lens mount and liquid nitrogen cooling. Those items describe a finished camera system, not solely a detector array. Please verify if the requirement is for a finished camera system or just a focal plane array. A. Yes, we do want a camera. Q. What is the purpose of the USB interface? A. To connect the camera to a PC for data acquisition. Q. Item #12 requests a sapphire window. Is that an external IR transmissive window required for this application? A. It is an integrated sapphire window for high optical throughput. Q. What particular analysis functions are required in Item #16? A. The software package shall provide complete control of instrument functions, data acquisition, and standard data analysis (peak labeling, linewidth estimation, unit conversion, fitting, calibration, etc) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and remain in full force and effect. The due date for receipt of quotes remain unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-AUG-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
