- SIR Description: Contractor must furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services required to complete the Renovations to Five (5) Bathrooms at the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), Palmdale, CA. NOTE: Please send all requests snd correspondence to: Deana.Galloway@faa.gov Criteria: Interested Bidders are required to attend the site visit, scheduled for August 23, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., at the ARTCC Building, at 2555 East Rancho Vista Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93535. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. Contractors must have successfully completed similar projects both in dollar amount and scope. Scope of the project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Demolition - Remove all urinals, water closets, mirrors, lights, partitions, etc. 2. Lead based paint abatement on wall. 3. Patching and painting of walls 4. Patching of existing ceiling 5. Provide porcelain tile over the existing ceramic tile in each of the five bathrooms. This includes tiling on both the floor and walls. There is approximately 2700 sq. ft of tile, 175 linear feet (lf) of trim and 255 lf of liner for the five bathrooms. More if you incldue the two big bathrooms. 6. NO replacement of piping under the wall unless it is corroded.. 7. Each bathroom shall have the following accessories installed: a. Two (2) ea toilet partition - Laminated, floor mounted and overhead braced with doors and accessories. b. Toilet paper holder at each toilet - Stainless steel c. Paper towel and waste receptacles - Stainless steel d. Two (2) each toilet seat dispensers - Stainless steel e. Exhaust Air Grill 8. Electrical: a. Remove existing lighting fixtures and conduits b. Install new junction box, new lighting fixtures on walls and ceiling. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer for this requirement. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
