- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, soliciatation no. FA4690-07-Q-0018 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 24 July 2007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% small business. NAICS code: 561990. Size Standard: $6.5 million. This solicitation is to hire a Catholic Music Coodinator. The estimated period of performance will be 1 October 2007 with FOB: Destination for delivery to Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706. The Government will award a blanket purchase agreement resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: past performance and price. Past performance will be evaluated on the contractors ability to meet the following requirements. Contractor shall include in proposal a list of experience demonstrating their history of: Piano, Organ or Electronic Keyboard playing, Accompanying for a Catholic Mass and Worship service, playing music for congregational and choral singing. Contractor shall be able to sing and read music. Contractor shall list experience to demonstrate understanding of traditional and contemporary Catholic music, music theory, harmony, and musical arrangement in church and religious music in their proposal. Contractor shall have at least one year of experience as a Choir Director and music accompanying experience in a Catholic worship service. Contractor shall be required to use existing instrument/sound system. Including: Mixing Boards: Mackie 1604LA Pro, Microphones: Shure Classic, Amplifiers: Peavey, Bose, Crown list experience with the above equipment in proposal. Government may decide to upgrade or change current system and may provide training on new equipment.
