Description
Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F3CTGG7156A002 and is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. (iv) Notice: The solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 442110 with a size standard not to exceed $6,500,000.00. (v) Contract line item number 0001 is for 230 Sealy Cadet Blue-FR Compatible or approved equal mattresses. Mattresses should meet the following criteria: size is 38 inches wide by 80 inches long; quilt is 1.0 oz fiber and 1 ? inches foam; layers are 1 inch foam, ? inch high performance foam, and duracushion pad; coil count is twin 216; innerspring is high profile bonnell. FOB: Destination. Place of delivery will be 10 different Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs). Locations are attached. All individuals entering a MAF must first complete an Entry Authorization Letter (EAL) and will be subject to a background check prior to having a pass issued. (vi) The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. (vii) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The evaluation procedure to be used for this procurement is price and technical criteria. (viii) Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with offer. (ix) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (x) Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (xi) Clause 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination.
