Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ-F2UT057178A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334310 and the size standard of 750 employees applies to this procurement. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: Contractor to upgrade the existing Video Tele Conference (VTC) equipment to allow the ability to select multiple inputs, e.g. computer, VTC, overhead visual equipment, using a presentation selector switch. The contractor will also provide area microphone that allow for use of the VTC equipment not be in view and will not have to be move when VTC is not in use. Also the camera will need to be mounted in an area where it can view personnel in the conference room without confining individuals to one area. All equipment will be rack mountable (e.g. VTC, computer, VCR, DVD, Sound System) and is to be performed on Luke AFB, Arizona. Total price shall include equipment, installation, and training on the installed equipment. All existing equipment when removed must be turned over to the government. Work is to be performed on Luke AFB during normal working hours are 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, Mon-Fri, however, contractor may work outside of these hours and days with proper coordination in advance with the Contracting Officer. All prospective vendors must attend the planned site visit that will take place at 10:00 AM on 22 August 2007 to asses the area and scope of work. All vendors are limited to two persons for the site visit and names, contact information and social security numbers are required no later that three business days prior to the site visit; 4:30 PM on 17 August 2007. Failure to attend the site visit will render any quote void and it will not be reviewed. The authorized contractor individual(s) shall provide a valid drivers license, current vehicle registration, valid vehicle insurance certificate to obtain a vehicle pass once selected. The selected contractor shall provide Entry authorization listing (EAL) indicating names of individuals delivering containers with the last 4 digits of their SSANs.
