Description

The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to purchase various types of wire, conduit, cable, clamps and other accessories for installation of a standby generator at Yellowtail Dam, Fort Smith, Montana. Reclamation will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) per FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures on or around August 28, 2007 with quotes being due on or around September 6, 2007. In accordance with the non-manufacturer rule as described in FAR 19.102 (f), the RFQ will not be set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335932 and the size standard is 500 employees. After issuance, the Solicitation/Contract/Order Commercial Items (Standard Form 1449) may available for view at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Electronic quotes are being accepted. However, if you would like to request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Shawna Rogers. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration (http://www.ccr.gov). Contractors submitting a bid/quotation must complete their Representations and Certifications Online (Section K of the solicitation). To complete the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) go to http://orca.bpn.gov.
