Description

Statement of Work for Construction of Awards Wall for the Department of the Inteior The Department of the Interior, National Business Center, seeks a firm to design and construct a board for the purpose of displaying 7 photographs and nameplates of individuals. The board will be approximately 6 feet long by 4 feet wide. The board will be constructed using sustainable, environmentally conscious products including, but not limited to, recycled material. The board will be installed on a plaster wall and must be constructed in such a way as to be removable as a whole as well as each photograph and nameplate must be removable. The base of the board will contain the Department of the Interior logo as well as the Director's Coin, representations of which will be provided to the vendor. The board must be designed in such a way as to meet applicable Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The location of the board will be at 1849 C St NW, Washington DC 20240. Interested vendors will be permitted to visit the site of the planned installation in order to see the site conditions for the construction. Basis of award will be based on lowest price, but vendor can not exceed $7,500.00 in total costs including labor and materials. The contract type will be a firm fixed price. The design and construction of the project must be completed by September 30, 2007.
