- This request for bids covers all labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for the removal of existing wood frame windows and transom lights, and the installation of new energy-efficient aluminum-clad wood framed windows. Location of project is the Grand Rapids Forestry Sciences Laboratory located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The intent of this project is to provide thermally efficient, low maintenance window replacements that match the appearance of the remaining window sets. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about August 9, 2007 on Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation documents can also be requested by emailing mikeash@fs.fed.us or facsimile at 651-649-5285. Potential offerors should reference AG-63PX-S-07-0001. Telephone requests will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequent for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Contract is firm fixed-price, total small business set-aside. Estimated price range: Less than $50,000. A site visit has been scheduled for September 21, 2007 at 9:00 Am CST at the Grand Rapids location.
