- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Request for Quotations (RFQ) RFQ70064 and the solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. Delivery and acceptance will be at Bethesda, Maryland. The National Institute of Mental Heatlh is seeking the following: >Item (1) 12 each of (Four (4) compartments Integral Primate Unit with 6.2sq. Ft. per compartment, each individual cage compartment measures 32?widex 28th deep x32high. Overall dimensions of unit are approximately 70? wide x 34 deep x 80.125 the unit is stainless steel, tubular frame construction with resistance welded grid top, front and rear assemblies.>Item 2 (96 each) of plastic primate excrete pan measuring 32 3/8 x 28 3/3x 2 high for use six (6) square foot primate units previously supplied.> The evaluation criteria will be based on best value to the Government. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to the acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable. The evaluations factors: 1) Ability to meet the technical requirement, 2) documentation that addresses an offeror ability to deliver on time and within specification,) Past performance in similar efforts. Offers will also be evaluated on best value. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with it offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and Clause 23.500 Drug Free Workplace. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders.
