This project is pending Departmental Approval and solicitation is subject to cancellation. Description: 100% Set-aside for HUB-Zone under the authority of FAR 19.1305, HUB Zone setaside procedures. Repairs to Wild Horse Canyon and Kelso Dunes Roads, Mojave National Preserve, Essex and Kelso, California, Soliciation Number N8380070035. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise to perform all operations required for successful completion of the project named above. Work consists of preparation of sub-grade, compaction, stabilization and addition of road base aggregate to 3.4 miles of Wild Horse Canyon Road, repair and stabilize four low water crossings on Wild Horse Canyon Road and preparation of sub-grade, compaction and applying road base aggregate to 0.6 miles of road surface on Kelso Dunes Road. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $31 million. Contract duration is 60 days following the notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $250,00 and $400,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties at a later time and date. Responses are due in 30 days.
