Description
The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to incorporate technical changes and to change the due date for quotations. 1. The due date for quotations is hereby changed to August 23, 2007, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time. 2. The solicitation is hereby amended to incorporate changes to Salient Characteristics 2, 4, and 5. SALIENT CHARACTERISTIC 2. Change output count rate (OCR) to input count rate (ICR). Salient Characteristic 2 is hereby changed to read as follows: 2. Each SDD detector element must be capable of performing with a resolution of 133 eV (full peak width at half peak intensity, FWHM at Mn K alpha, 5895 eV) or better with a peaking time constant that permits an output count rate (OCR) of at least 100,000 counts per second (cps); The peak width measured at FWHM at Mn K alpha must be constant within plus or minus 5 eV up to a deadtime of 60 percent; SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 4. and 5. Change the resolution from 133 eV to 159 eV. Salient Characteristic 4 is hereby changed to read as follows: 4. Each SDD detector element must be capable of performing with an x-ray mapping resolution of 159 eV (FWHM at Mn K alpha, 5895 eV) or better with a peaking time constant that permits an OCR of 250,000 cps or higher for each chip. The peak width measured at MnK alpha must be constant within plus or minus 10 eV up to a deadtime of 60 percent. The peak channel value must be constant within plus or minus 10 eV up to a deadtime of 60 percent. Salient Characteristic 5 is hereby changed to read as follows: 5. The hardware and software systems must be capable of both recording the output of each individual detector or combining the output of all four detectors into a composite spectrum, selectable by the user. The composite spectrum of all four detectors must have a resolution of 159 eV or better with a total OCR of 1,000,000 cps or higher. 3. LINE ITEM 0004: Warranty, is hereby amended to incorporate the following change to response time: ??Unlimited telephone support must be provided. On-site response and/or repair must be provided within 72 hours after notification of a warranty issue?? NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-AUG-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
