- Amendment 1 - This amendment is requesting that those offerors providing information pertaining to coaching services submit comprehensive data in the type of coaching services they provide for mid-level and executive managers in strengthening their management and leadership skills. The Clinical Center values all aspects of diversity and seeks a pool of coaches able to leverage the differences of all our mid and senior level leaders. The criteria shall provide at least 5 years experience coaching one on one at mid and senior executive levels; A coaching philosophy that fosters sustained, holistic learning; Certification through the International Coaching Foundation or an ICF-accredited training program; A good fit with the type of environment that a research facility such as the Clinical Center culture offers; Experience in gathering data using 360 assessement, observations and interviews to develop coaching learning contracts; Willingness to understand the culture of a research facility environment and provide the type of coaching techniques that will fulfill the needs within its setting; Live within the local geographic distance that allows for easy accessibility to be physically present at the Clinical Center for face to face contact with Chief of ODP as well as clients; Submit 2-3 page Coaching Biography using the following format: Section 1: Professional Credentials Include education, training, certifications as well as dates completed; Include certifications in assessment instruments (e.g. 360, MBTI, etc) Section 2 Coaching Experience: describe coaching philosophy and approach; Identify levels at which you have coached; Identify 1-5 major areas that utilize your professional expertise (e.g. people development, creating and communicationg a strategic, vision, building teams, relationship management with peers, superiors, direct reports, etc); Section 3 Industry Experience - Describe experience with the Federal Government, healthcare, and as a manager yourself; Describe a coaching experience that demonstrates how you have coached someone on any of your major areas of expertise and achieved results; Section 4: References provide contact information for three past or current coaching clients who we contact via phone or email; one of these individuals should be a person who manages a coaching program for his/her organization. This is not a solicitation, only capability qualifications are being requested based on the criteria unde this amendment and Sources Sought notice. The National Institutes of Health is soliciting qualified offerors to submit capability qualifications in providing coaching services for the Office of Workforce Planning and Development Department within the Clinical Research Center, Clinical Center. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541611. The Office of Workforce Planning and Development focuses on the development of the Clinical Center staff, structures, systems, and processes to improve organizational effectiveness. The OWPD has five core processes. These are workforce development, training, internal consult services, hospitality services, and coordination of special events. The mission of the OWPD is to "Develop Individual and Organization Potential" through education, professional development, promoting a positive work environment, developing open communication and collaborative partnerships, and implementing workforce planning. Requirements: The consultant must be a professionally certified leadership coach with sufficient experience and familiarity with the unique and multi dimensional aspects of the hospital Culture including experience in coaching and facilitating within the research facility setting. The coaching experience is relevant to ongoing training designed specifically for the Clinical Center senior staff in order to position for high impact leadership. The workscope is (1) Assessment of client management/leadership performance style; (2) Establishment of a coaching contract/plan; (3) Establish outcome measures of success with client and supervisor to assess growth and learning; (4) One on one coaching sessions; and (5)Develop support materials and resources for sustaining growth. In submission of capability qualifications the offeror shall include but not limited to: (1) Resume that outlines experience in a hospital environment specifically within government institutions along with a copy of credentials that demonstrate experience in coaching. All qualified offerors submission of capability qualification shall be submitted no later than close of business on September 5, 2007 at 3:30pm.
