- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) intends to procure the PC Module SPC830 Experiment Control Modules, Preamplifiers, Cables, Adapters, Connectors, P-Box, and Installation services from Boston Electronics Corporation, 91 Boylston Street, Brookline, MA 02445. The original equipment was damaged due to flooding in the lab. This equipment is designed to work along with the Zeiss 510 Meta Multi -photon system. This is the only known vendor to provide this equipment. Interested vendors may identify in writing their interest with a capability statement to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all responses received, before the closing date, of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NICHD-07-323 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 765C, Bethesda, MD 20817 Attention: Tina Robinson. FAX quotations must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative. FAX NUMBER 301-480-4226. All requests for quotation must include a valid email address. PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive an award, contractor must be registered and have valid certification in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov
