- Description
- The Texas Air National Guard located at Houston, TXintends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a si ngle, firm fixed price cotnract for construction to renovate offices, bldg 1255. The project consists of renovation of offices in bldg 125 5, approximately 1546SF to include removal and reinstallation of light fixtures, ceiling grids, heat detectors, air diffusers/air return grills, speakers; demolition of ceiling tiles, flooring doors; and new work furring out approx 80lf of walls, preparin g for paint, replacing ceiling tiles, new fixtures. The estimated magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will post on 22 Aug 07. Proposal due date is 14 Sep 07 with a site visit scheduled on 30 Aug 07. Interested contractors are st rongly encouraged to attend. The contract will be awarded under Source Selection procedures specified in the solicitation. Evaluation criteria are Past Performance and Price, with Past Performance being considered approximately equal to price. This proj ect is being procured on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Competitiveness Demonstration Program, however, small businesses, veteran owned businesses, service-disabled veteral owned businesses, small disadvantaged businesses and woman owned busi nesses may participate. The HUBZONE preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies. The North American Indistry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236118 and the size standard for small businesses is $31.0M annual receipts for the past three years. A small busin ess subcontracting plan will be required if the offeror is a large buisness and must be submitted with the original offer. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The Source Selection process will be conducted in accordance with FA R 15.3 and DFARS 215.3. The government intends to award without discussion. Interested contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration found at http://www.ccr.gov. Representations and certifications must be submitted via On-lin e Reps and Certs (ORCA, found at http://orca.bpn.gov).
