Description

The U.S. Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOMAC) has a requirement for Search Kits with PS12 Metal Detectors in support of the Joint IED Defeat Organization. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The Governm ent intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Procedures (commercial items) under NAICS 339999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation contains an option for purchasing additional search kits and metal detectors. Al l responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet on ly. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to b e considered for award of a Federal contract. Information regarding registration can be obtained from the Business Partner Network site in the CCR link at https://www.ccr.gov/. Contractors are also required to complete online representations and certifi cations at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) portal at https://orca.bpn.gov/, prior to the RFQ closing date.
