Description

AMENDED TO CHANGE ERROR IN RESPONSE DATE. CORRECT RESPONSE DATE IS 8/27/2007. The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, intends to solicit for and award a firm fixed-price contract for preventative maintenance of Agfa Drystar Radiographic Laser Printers located in the Radiology Department. Sources are being solicited to identify any potential vendor capable of performing this work who fits a SBA-approved socio-economic classification. If at least two responsible sources are identified that fulfill the same socio-economic category, the Contracting Officer may set this solicitation aside. If no responses are received, or there is no level of response adequate to justify a socio-economic set-aside, the Contracting Officer may release this solicitation to the open market. Under the provisions of PL 109-461, if only one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned Small Business concern is determined responsible and offers reasonable pricing, the Contracting Officer may set this work aside to negotiate a sole-source award. Multiple SDVOSB or VOSB responses deemed able to perform this work will result in an appropriate competitive set-aside. Equipment to be serviced is as follows. Please note that this contract will be only for periodic preventative maintenance (including parts and labor). On-call or emergency service will not be contracted. 1.) Agfa Drystar 3000 Laser Printer (Networked). SN 4833. Located in room A204. 2.) Agfa Drystar 3000 Laser Printer (Networked). SN 1634. Located in room A213. 3.)
