- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA5570-07-T-0007 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). FAR Clause 52.232-19 ??Availibility of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year?? applies to this acquisition ??Funds are not presently available for performance under this contract. The Government??s obligation for performance of this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise for performance under this contract until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for performance and until the Contractor receives notice of availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer." This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of services: This requirement is for U.K. Mail Haulage Services to be provided in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement and Performance Plan. Interested parties should provide proposed prices as outlined below: Period of Perfomrance is 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008. The Government does not anticipate awarding a contract with option years that provide for additional periods of performance beyond 30 Sep 2008. 1. CLIN 0001 ?V Daily Mail Haulage ?V Provide 2,500 CF (minimum) enclosed hard side vehicle to Heathrow MCA for collection of U.S. Mail and delier same to RAF Alconbury and return to Heathrow MCA. 2. CLIN 0002 ?V Vehicle, One Way Trip ?V Provide 2,500 CF (minimum) enclosed hard side vehicle to Heathrow MCA for collection of U.S. Mail and deliver same to RAF Alconbury. 3. CLIN 0003 ?V Additional Vehicle, Round Trip ?V Provide 2,500 CF (minimum) enclosed hard side vehicle to Heathrow MCA for collection of U.S. Mail and deliver same to RAF Alconbury and return to Heathrow MCA.
