- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Contracting Office intends to acquire an interferometer array test-bed comprised of 6 each antennas of approximately 6 meters in diameter to be installed at the Hat Creek Observatory in California. This is a sole source acquisition with the SETI Institute under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The SETI Institute is the only known provider of these supplies and determined to be the only institution that can provide the type of research. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this quotation. This requirement is in support of the U.S. Naval Observatory, Washington, DC. Any interest or concerns must be directed to FISC Philadelphia Division Contracting Department, Re: N6228507RC00053, Code 260.2D no later than 04 September 2007. Attn: Luis Aymerich. Note 22 applies.
