- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to award a commercial, sole-source contract to Thales Communications, Inc., Clarksburg, MD, for the purchase of the following transceiver components: Radio TMR8092 Dual RX/EX; Amplifier (Power) TMR1096 125W PA with accessories; Antenna, Digital, TMR4095 125W ACU; Controller Unit Radio, TMR6490 CU; Software PC6000 Controller included with radio; Rack Mount Kit, 90 Series; Dual Ale Controller, Autolink, TMR3302; Rack Mount Kit, 125 WATT PA; Rack Mount Kit, 1090; Amplifier, Power, TMR1090 1KW PA; Coupler, Digital Antenna, TMR4090 1KW ACU; circuit Card, DSP Module; Circuit Card, Receiver Board, MSR90 Series; Synthesizer Bd, Low Stability, MSR 90 Series; Circuit Card, CPU Board; and Circuit Card, Exciter Board, MSR90. Thales Communications is the manufacturer and sole supplier for these items and holds the proprietary design rights for these components. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220, and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice is due 10 days from the date of this publication.
