- Description
- Wafers w/be on high resistivity <n> type silicon. Each Sensor w/ have up to 6 different types (size) of Silicon Sensors. The Sensors w/be tested by the supplier & have to meet tight specifications on leakage current & high voltage breakdown. Vendor shall have the following demonstrated capabilities: can produce double-sided particle/radiation Sensors including procurement of the Silicon Wafers & generation of all masks; doing fine channel-to-channel pitch (100 microns) w/excellent yield; can handle 4 &/or 6 inches Silicon Wafers (200-300 micron thick) with electrostatic sensitive structures on both sides; can produce DC coupled n-on-n radiation hard (>10 Mrad) pixel sensors w/either p-stops or p-spray (or both) intra-channel isolation technique; can produce sensors compatible with Bump-bonding Hybridization; previous experience with detectors for High Energy Physics &/or medical imaging application will be advantageous; Minimum of 5 years in the above area of expertise; Deliver up to 100 Wafers (that meet spec. requirements) within 8 months ARO.
