RE-PAINT THREE (3) RADIO COMMUNICATIONS LINK TOWERS, ALBUQUERQUE AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO SOLICITATION DTFASW-07-R-00066 POINT OF CONTACT: RUBY ORINGDERFF, CONTRACTING OFFICER, 817 222-4397 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified tower restoration contractors interested in re-painting three (3) 75' RCL towers at the ARTCC, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Work will consist of re-painting three towers, which are self supported and support active communication antennae that cannot be turned off during the painting process. Other components that shall be painted include wave-guide supports, and smaller triangular dish support. The contractor is cautioned that some of the existing buildings lead-based products. All work shall be accomplished according to the plans and specifications that will be provided. 1. Contract performance time is 30 days. This construction project is being procured by full and open competition. 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238320 and the small business size standard is $31 Million. 3. The dollar range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. 4. Contractor is expected to perform at least 15 % of the work utilizing the contractor's own employees. 5. Contractor MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before contract award. Contractors can register on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE SOLICITATION 1. DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS 2. BUSINESS DECLARATION 3. REFERENCES, PAST PERFORMANCE - The contractor must provide the name of the facility where work was performed, contract number, along with a point of contact at the facility and telephone number This information MUST BE submitted with the request for specifications and plans. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 4:00 pm (CDT) by August 28, 2007. Contractors must provide their company name, physical mailing address, telephone number and FAX number and complete and submit the two attached documents: FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE.
