Description

Pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and the Department of the Interior Acquisition Policy Release (DIAPR) 2007-07, the National Park Service intends to issue an Request for Quotation on an unrestricted basis for the repairs to the chain link fence along the boundary at the Davis Bayou Area, Gulf Islands National Seashore, Ocean Springs, MS. This acquisition is open to large and small business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 238990. The small business size standard is $13 million. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The total performance period for the work is 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Request for Quotation package will be available on or about September 5, 2007 at the following website address: http://ideasec.nbc.gov. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE MAILED OR FAXED. All offerors must submit their bid electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov no later than September 20, 2007 for consideration. No fax or email offerors will be accepted. The work consist of repairing damaged chain link fence (including post, top rail, fabric and all accessories) in five (5) locations within the Davis Bayou Area. There are approximately 1660 LF top rail; approximately 1800 LF fabric; approximately 940 LF of barbed wire and 27 posts to be installed. All contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) website as an active vendor in order to be eligible for an award and received payment against an award. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractor shall complete electronic Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following website: http://orca.bpn.gov. All questions or comments regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening to ensure a proper and timely response. The Government reserve the right to cancel this solicitation . This is a Presolicitation Notice.
