Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Florida Integrated Science Center, Gainesville, Florida, intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Microwave Telemetry, Inc., Columbia, Maryland to purchase X-Tag Archival Pop-Up Tags to track movement of Yellowfin Tuna. This equipment is needed to track over-winter movement patterns which can only be tracked using pop-off archival tags small enough to work on fish weighing less than 100 pounds. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 25, 2007, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
