Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation documents incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-14, dated 22 November 2006 and DFARS Change Notice 20050930. The DPAS Rating for this solicitation is S1. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The NAICS code is 611519, the Size Standard is $6.5. The Naval Special Warfare Group 4 requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001 ASA101-103 ? FIVE (5) DAY PROGRAM CONSISTING OF ASA 101A BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING 2 DAYS and ASA 103 BASIC COASTAL CRUISING 3 DAYS (Required dates: Jan 7-11, 2008, Jan 28-Feb 1, 2008, Feb 11-15, 2008) THREE (3) STUDENTS. ITEM 0002 FIVE (5) DAY VESSEL SYSTEMS PROGRAM CONSISTING OF CLASSROOM, LAB and UNDERWAY TIME. PRINCIPLES, OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE, SAFETY AND BASIC TROUBLE SHOOTING OF VESSEL SYSTEMS (Required dates: Jan 14-18, 2008, Jan 21-25, 2008, Feb 18-22, 2008) for THREE (3) STUDENTS. ITEM 0003 POWERBOAT HANDLING CONSISTING OF IMMERSION COURSE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO IMPROVE THEIR CLOSE QUARTERS MANEUVERING SKILLS. TWEVLE (12) HOUR/TWO (2) DAY HANDS ON PROGRAM ONBOARD CONTRACTOR PROVIDED VESSELS. VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS HELM COURSE WITH EITHER TWIN INBOARD OR SINGLE INBOARD, OR TWIN or SINGLE I.O./OR OUTBOARD FOR THREE (3) STUDENTS. Acceptance shall be at Origin. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/ . . 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is applicable to this procurement. (a) The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose offer conforms to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. To be considered by the agency, all quotes must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 1400 hours (Eastern Standard Time) on05 SEP 2007.
