Electronic - for example - electronic components, lamps and displays, optoelectronics, test and measurement equipment. ?? Electrical - for example - circuit protection, electric motors, electrical interconnect products, lighting, power products, power transmission, wire and cable. ?? Mechanical/Industrial - for example - adhesives, electromechanical and industrial control, fluids and lubricants, hardware, HVAC, industrial supplies, janitorial equipment and supplies, marking/labeling, measuring instruments, motors, paint and supplies, plumbing supplies, pneumatics and hydraulics, power transmission, protective clothing/equipment, pumps, safety and security products, shelving and storage tools. The requirement contemplates multiple contract awards, utilizing contractors' catalogs, each having a base year and four 1- year options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. The Indefinite-Delivery contracts will be in the form of a "Modified Requirements" type so as to permit the flexibility necessary to enter into the number of multiple award contracts. Vendors shall be required to have a searchable online catalog with pricing, availability and product characteristics. Invoicing shall be accomplished electronically utilizing an FAA automated system. The nature of the Indefinite-Delivery/Modified Requirements contract will be addressed with the issuance of the screening information request (SIR). This acquisition will use streamlined acquisition procedures employing best practices for competitive negotiated procurements as authorized by the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) of 1996. In the near future, a SIR will be posted to the Internet which interested sources can download.
