Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: Non-personnal service requirement to remove and replace roll-up doors in Building 1040 at the Avery facility on the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground installation. NOTE: This requirement is subject to the availability of funding in accordance with FAR 52.232-18. Specifications for Roll-Up Doors are as follows: (1) Two (2) each 20 X 25 insulated coiling doors to include the following: (a) 18/22 gauge galvanized steel interlocking flat slat curtain, polystyrene foam core; (b) 24 gauge galvanized steel hood; (c) Structure steel guides; (d) Pre-painted white; (e) Fully weatherstripped; (f) 50,000 c ycle springs; (g) Hoist type door openers; (h) 3 HP, 3 phase motor; (i) Auxiliary chain hoist operation; (j) One (1) each interior three button control station; (k) Safety reversing edge with take-up reel; and (l) Radio receiver. (2) Four (4) each 14 X 1 6 insulated coiling doors to include the following: (a) 22/22 gauge galvanized steel interlocking flat slat curtain, polystyrene foam core; (b) 24 gauge galvanized steel hood; (c) Structure steel guides; (d) Pre-painted white; (e) Fully weatherstripped; ( f) 50,000 cycle springs; (g) Hoist type door openers; (h) 1 HP, 3 phase motor; (i) Auxiliary chain hoist operation; (j) One (1) each interior three button control station; (k) Safety reversing edge with take-up reel; and (l) Radio receiver. (3) Removal an d haul away of existing doors and motors. (4) Jamb preparation. (5) All electrical wiring. (6) Three (3) each linear 2-button radio transmitter. (7) Three (3) each linear 4-button radio transmitter. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote ( RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ W911S6-07-T-0108 for a firm-fixed priced amount. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). North American Industrial Class ification Standard 444190 applies to this procurement.
