- This is a notice of intent to procure a single source contract with Dallas Avionics, Inc, 2525 Santa Anna Ave, Dallas Texas 75228 for Eight (8) each TIL #TDFM6148-P426NV Radios, eight (8) Comant Antennas VHF/FM BNT WHIP three hole mount, sixteen (16) Comant UHF Blade N Conn, and eight (8) UH60KIT Blackhawk Install Kit J101 and J202 Doubler Plate Coax Kits for use in UH-60 Blackhawk Aircraft for the Kansas Army National Guard. The contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.301(a) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements . The NAICS code for this requirement is 334290 and the size standard is 750 Employees. The TIL #TDFM6148-P426NV Radio is the only known commercial radio available that meets all the government s requirements for multi-agency, interoperable communication capabilities with non-military entities that operates on the 700 MHZ band and has received an Air Worthiness Release (AWR) for use in UH-60 Blackhawk Aircraft. Interested persons who feel they c an provide this item may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Convincing evidence of your ability to provide these items and your response to this notice must be received no later than 2:00 PM CST, September 7, 2007. We are not interested in setting up sources for new manufacturing. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
