- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions, add chart for proposals and extend the proposal due date and time to 5:00p.m., EDT September 3, 2007. I. Questions and Answers: Question 1: What capabilities on these phones are needed (for instance, would they need cameras, Bluetooth, MP3, etc.)? Answer 1: These phones are for voice and text messages (SMS) only. Question 2: You mentioned these phones augmenting your current service. Who is the provider of your current domestic service? Answer 2: Current domestic and long distance service is provided by T-Mobile. This procurement is planned as a low cost additional source of overseas phone service. Question 3: Solicitation refers to the estimated monthly use of 8,000 minutes. Does this number correspond to one phone or all 50 phones? Answer 3: This number corresponds to 50 phones per month. The total number of minutes per year is estimated as 96,000 for 50 phones (8,000 minutes/month X 12 months = 96,000 minutes). II.
