Description

It is the intent of the The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to enter into a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Image Permanence Institute for the design and integration of a web-based preservation system. This system is required to access and globally display data that is collected by Image Permanance Institute?s Climate Notebook software. The proposed contract action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICs code is 611310. The period of performance is date of award through 12 months. Submit proposals to NARA, 8601 Adelphi Road, Room 3340, College Park, Maryland 20740-6001. The anticipated award date is 15 September 2007. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to close of business 08/31//2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after date of publication of this synopsis and prior to 08/31/2007 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
