- This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No responses will be provided for any requests for solicitation. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. Reimbursement will not be made for any associated costs with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a requirement for the rental of various vehicles. The estimated total number of vehicles (2005 or newer) is 97. Consisting of (24) 15-passenger vans, (11) 7-passenger mini-vans, (31) sedans midsize, (21) 5-passenger SUVs, (5) 4-passenger 4 x 4 pick-up trucks and (5) 4-passenger pick up trucks. Vendors will be encouraged to submit quotes for the total number of vehicles that they can provide not necessarily the full total of 97 vehicles. Alternate type of vehicles will be considered for any type of vehicle that cannot be provided in the specific quantity listed above providing that the alternate equals seating capacity. For example, (3) sedans would provide equal seating capacity as (1) 15-passenger van. The government reserves the right to make split-awards to accomplish the vehicle requirement. The solicitation or Request for Quote will be issued on or about 28 August 2007. The tentative period of performance is 5 September 2007 through 28 September 2007. Delivery will be Bldg 18001, Andersen AFB, Guam. The NAICS code is 532111. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website (http;//www.ccr.gov) and have their Representations and Certifications Applications filed under the new ORCA database (http;//www.bpn.gov). If Representations and Certifications are not in the ORCA website, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. FAR 52.212-3 will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this requirement will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
