Description

Develop Mk 200 Mod 1 Attack Weapon Interface Simulator (AWIS) Strike Tasking PC as defined in OD 63763, Program Plan for the SSGN Attack Weapon Control System and in accordance with OD 61988, SP23 Programs Environmental, Ship Interface, Security and Safety Requirements, OD 61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs and the T9001B checklist dated 25 June 2005 as modified 15 April 2007, Aux Equipment Type, Development Phase. AWIS Hard Drive Procurement Procure and test AWIS hard drives for use in the Mk 200 Mod 1 Attack Weapon Interface Simulator (AWIS) as defined in OD 63763, Program Plan for the SSGN Attack Weapon Control System and in accordance with OD 61988, SP23 Programs Environmental, Ship Interface, Security and Safety Requirements, OD 61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs and the T9001B checklist dated 25 June 2005 as modified 15 April 2007, Aux Equipment Type, Development Phase. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
