Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a minimum requirement for 750 new 10 ply or better mobile home tires (size 8-14.5 MH) mounted on rims. The tire and rim assembly shall be priced F.O.B. Destination with 250 units being delivered to FEMA Cumberland Distribution Center, 11601 PPG Road, Cumberland, MD 21502-0000 and the remaining 500 units being delivered to FEMA Hope Staging Area, 3910 HWY 278 West, Hope, Arkansas 71801. All units shall be packaged to withstand exposure to the elements. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423120 (except used and scrap tires) with a size standard of 100 employees. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation Number HSFEHQ-07-Q-0198 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality Contract. The period of performance for this contract will be for a period of 12 months from the effective date of the Award Contract. The following provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification ? Commercial Items. The vendor must be registered with ORCA. Vendors may register electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov/. The resulting contract shall include the following classes: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders ? Commercials Items. 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim 52.232-25 Prompt Payment 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Fund Transfer ? Central Contractor Registration. The vendor must be registered within the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) Database. Vendors may register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/. Basis for Award: Quotes will be evaluated by the lowest price. Quotes must be priced F.O.B. Destination.
