Description
The Sacramento District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has an upcoming project titled, Ground Water Treatment System, Hawthorne, NV. The project is to construct a ground water treatment plant capable of treating arsenic and fluoride. Project in cludes the water supply/treatment building, plant/utilities building, potable water storage tank, distribution lines, and building information systems. Supporting facilities include site utilities water, gas, electric, sewer), site improvements, roads, inf ormation systems, and antiterrorism/force protection. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided in public areas. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $31,000,000.00. This announcement serves only as a market survey/sources sought selection in order to determine the interest and availability businesses within specific socio-economic categories. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Responses are being sought from qualified 8(a) (whos business plans are filed in AZ, CA, ID, NV or UT), HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns possessing the technical expertise and bonding capab ility to execute the work requirements. Interested contractors must submit the following information as verifiable experience: (1) Proof of available bonding capacity of at least $10,000,000.00. Documentation must be in the form of a statement from the C ontractors bonding company; (2) Verifiable evidence of experience in performing this type of work; and (3) How you will manage work in accordance with FAR 52.219-14(b)(3), Limitation on Sub-Contracting: General Construction. The concern will perform at l east 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials.
